Fire Chief Joseph Hall

Fire Chief Joseph Hall began his adventure with the Green Pond Fire Department in January of 2010.  He began as a fire explorer that was created to give youth that were in High School the opportunity to train and learn more about the Fire Service.  Chief Hall stayed with the Green Pond Fire Department and attended his first class of Firefighter 160 when he was 17 years old.  Once the class was completed he turned 18 and started EMT Basic.

Through the years Green Pond Fire has sponsored him and has given him much support financially for him to attend many classes.  Today he is a certified Firefighter 1&2 through the Alabama Fire College, a EMT Paramedic certified through the State of Alabama and has attended many officer and technical rescue courses.

Chief Hall purses his career in another fire department as well, but considers Green Pond Fire to be his home.  He still lives in the community with his family and has lived here his entire life. He has seen the department grow very much in his years with the department, but is excited too see where it is headed improving EMS and Fire Service to the citizens within Green Pond Fire Department.
